WMS-engineering GmbH is a proven expert in automation solutions. Since 1986 we have developed and produced everything needed for economical machining and assembly – whether it is an individual machine or an entire system.
In 1986, SIG-Robotics invented the first flexible robotic deburring tools and began automating both internal and external processes.
WMS-engineering was founded six years later by three former SIG employees as a management buy-out before WMS took over SIG Robotics including all business and patents in 1996.
The patent application of the deburring tools from 1986 is still the basis of our WMS spindles. Proven for years, further developed and adapted, our spindles still form the basis for the safe process!
After the first move to Lottstetten, the company expanded in 2006 into its own business premises in Klettgau-Grießen (3,500m²), where our headquarters are still located.
Over the years, several successful cooperations with trading partners in the international area have now been started, new patent applications have been filed and most recently an extension building with a new assembly hall and training workshop has been realized.
