As a knowledgeable expert and the most important address for all HR issues, our colleague Ines Fend-Stehling always has the right answer to any questions you may have about our vacancies, recruitment procedures or application processes. You ask, we answer
How can I become part of WMS-engineering?
Whether you are fresh out of school or already have many years of experience, we welcome applications from people with all levels of experience and will find a place for everyone: to help us shape the robotics of tomorrow..
Fresh out of school?
Do you have your school-leaving certificate in your pocket and are you interested in robotics? We can offer you varied job prospects that will also be in demand in the distant future.
How about an apprenticeship?
What do you think about starting an apprenticeship with us as an industrial mechanic, electronics technician for industrial engineering or technical product designer?
Are you more interested in studying?
If you have a high school diploma or university entrance qualification, you can start your dual study program in mechanical engineering, business administration (Industrial Management) or industrial engineering.
For career starters or professionals
Do you have vocational training?
If you have completed your vocational training in electronics, industrial mechanics, metalworking, assembly mechanics or a related technical field, we are sure to find a position that suits your interests and skills. We welcome previous professional experience, but also offer career starters a wide range of opportunities for a dream job in robotics.
Do you have a technician qualification or a degree?
After completing your studies or further training to become a technician, you will be able to work in a wide variety of areas. Depending on your focus, you can join us in PLC and robot programming, design, e-planning or sales (office and field service).
Interested in an internship?
We look forward to welcoming you at any time for a school or compulsory internship. During an internship, you will gain valuable insights into our day-to-day work and definitely learn more than just how to make coffee. If you want to gain your first (or deeper) impressions of modern robot technology, this is the way to go.
During the final thesis
We would love to welcome you during your Bachelor’s, Master’s or technical thesis. Thanks to our activities, there are many varied topics and lots of friendly colleagues who are always on hand to help and advise you when writing your thesis.
What about unsolicited applications?
If we do not currently have a suitable position for you, we are always happy to receive unsolicited applications. We are regularly on the lookout for new talent, particularly in PLC and robot programming.
How can I apply?
You can send your application (short covering letter, CV and references) simply and easily by e-mail to our colleague Ines Fend-Stehling at personal@wms-engineering.de.
What happens after the application?
Once we have received your application documents, we will send you a confirmation and ask you to be patient while our HR department and the relevant specialist department have the opportunity to deal with your documents appropriately.
If your application documents are complete and your qualifications match the position,
we will invite you to a personal interview.
If the position has already been filled at the time of your application
or if your documents unfortunately cannot be considered for the further procedure, you will receive a corresponding e-mail from us as soon as possible.
How can I best prepare for the personal interview?
We work with robots every day, but we ourselves are deeply human and always interested in working happily with motivated and friendly colleagues. You don’t need to embellish your achievements or hide any failures for your interview. Come as you are, everything else will be revealed in a personal interview!
